TO CULLINAN DIAMOND MINE, Sunday
November 13th, for Mine Tour and Lunch.
Depart at 08.30 from 1. Babsfontein R25/R50
4-way stop, or 2. Jaguar Centurion (Lazarus Motors).
No need to RSVP for tour. Just pay (Detail
below) your tour fee directly to the club account on or before Friday 4
Nov. The fees are as follows:
R80pp for 13 years and older, R50pp for 10 - 12
yrs. Children under 10 not allowed on the tour.
Payment detail: Please pay into
Jaguar Club of SA Bank Account ( FNB Rosebank 253305 Account number
50370029925 ) with "C-your Surname/X/Y" as reference. X = number of
adults and Y= number of kids 10 - 12 years. Eg: C-lochner/2/1

convoy from 2 venues :
East Rand: Babsfontein four-way
stop R 50 and R 25 / R 51
Pretoria: Jaguar Centurion

There is a large parking area
north of the tour office and we'll try to arrange a guard and park the
cars for pictures.
You thought the Kimberley hole was big, well come
and look at this one – it’s even bigger! Cullinan mine yielded the
largest gem diamond ever and is still the only world wide significant
source of blue diamonds. If you have never done a tour of the mine, do so
at least once in your life time and this is your chance! Take a drive
with the JCNR in your Jaguar of choice to Cullinan, and do the mine tour
or just come with and take a walk through the town, as it is small enough
to walk the entire town in an hour or so, with interesting shops,
boutiques, restaurants etc. After this strenous exercise, food would be
welcome.
